The Consequences, Challenges and Opportunities for Commercial Enterprises
Thursday 8 December 2011
Koninklijke Schouwburg, The Hague, the Netherlands
Following the successful previous editions of the ICLN Annual Conference, ICLN is now celebrating its 10th edition. The topic of this conference zooms in on the current developments within the fraud and corruption legislation, which is getting increasingly strict and extensive and is often seen as a threat by commercial enterprises. ICLN would like to serve as a platform where stakeholders and experts in this arena can meet and discuss how the existing legislation can be used as a guideline by commercial enterprises in the prevention of fraud and corruption within their organisation. The Annual Conference is part of ICLN’s long term strategy and ambition to contribute to the prevention of international fraud and corruption, both in the public as well as the private sphere. It will be explored, using the outcome of the Conference, on how commercial enterprises can be assisted in complying with and implementing the legislation, as well as how the (new) anti-fraud and corruption legislation worldwide can be improved and supported.
